aOnce upon a time there were two men who lived across from each other in a cul-de-sac. They both wanted more grass for different reasons. One wanted a yard that actually grew grass and the other wanted his yard to look as good as his neighbors plush green yard. We shall call the first man Sydney Carton and the other Charles Darnay, for anonymity sake.
Now Sydney had his yard tilled and plugged, seeded, fertilized and limed. He wanted his grass to grow and he was in a hurry about it.
Charles Darnay had his yard plugged and seeded with hay placed over it. He wanted his grass to start showing early as well.
Sydney watered his yard twice a day every day for two weeks. Charles walked up to his bay windows and yelled, "Grow!"
Two weeks later, Sydney had a yard full of weeds and Charles had a yard of hay.
I tell Sydney, "You only need to water the yard one time a day, 3 times a week."
I tell Charles, "You have to water the yard for it to grow. He says he does but, I know better.
Now the purpose of this post is to say, if you are going to spend a lot of money on your lawn, then you can spend 5 minutes to ask your lawncare specialist anything you do not understand or that you are unclear on.
I will continue this story by the end of the month with hopefully a happy ending for both.
